An Air Aftercooler Core serves as the central component of the air aftercooler system. It is responsible for facilitating the heat transfer process that cools down the compressed air. It involves a series of tubes through which the compressed air flows. These tubes are surrounded by a multitude of small fins that increase the surface area available for heat exchange.
Attributes:
• Incorporated with 6.35 air fins per inch to increase the surface area
• Incorporates turbulator with 5.8 fins per inch that disrupt the flow of the cooling medium
• Protects downstream components from damage caused by high temperatures
Applications:
An Air Aftercooler Core is a heat exchanger, effectively reducing the temperature of the compressed air coming from the turbocharger and removing condensed moisture from the compressed air.
