A Demountable Rim is a two-piece demountable assembly consisting of a rim base and a demountable ring. The rim base is the strong foundation that mounts to the machine hub. The demountable ring sits on the rim base and forms the outer edge that the tire directly contacts. This two-piece design allows for easier tire mounting, repair, and replacement compared to one-piece welded rims. It is made with multiple holes for lug nuts or bolts to fasten the rim to the machine hub securely.
