Description:
Cat Mobile Exhaust Port kit provides for temporary installation on all select Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar diesel engines. The Mobile Exhaust Port Kit is used to measure the temperature of the exhaust ports on an engine. The system consists of Digital Pyrometer and associated harnesses. The pyrometer will measure the temperature values and will transmit this data on the main J1939 data link. This information will be displayed using Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat® ET) software and a Communications Adapter.
Attributes:
• Bring attention to early warning signs such as faulty injectors or failed pistons and rings.
• Can be installed on Caterpillar engines and competitive brand engines.
• When paired with VIMS™, data can be sent to ECA or ACM for prognostic analysis, otherwise data is downloaded via Electronic Technician (ET).
