An Electric Starting Motor Solenoid is used to initiate the engine's starting process by engaging the electric starting motor. When the ignition switch is turned on, an electrical current is sent to the solenoid, energizing its coil. This creates a magnetic field that activates the internal mechanical mechanism of the solenoid. By engaging the electric starting motor, the solenoid enables the engine to overcome the initial resistance and generate the rotational force required to start the combustion process.
