The Cylinder Head is an integral part of an internal combustion engine, serving as the uppermost closure for the engine's cylinders. The cylinder head houses components such as the intake and exhaust valves, spark plugs (in gasoline engines), and in some cases, the camshaft(s) and valve train components. The primary function of the cylinder head is to seal the combustion chambers of the engine. It ensures that the high-pressure, high-temperature environment within the cylinder remains sealed to contain the explosive forces generated during the power stroke.
