An Air Aftercooler Core cools down the compressed air from the turbocharger. The core consists of numerous tubes that allow the flow of compressed air. These tubes are surrounded by fins, which are responsible for heat dissipation. The square wave air fins and the lanced and offset turbulator allow for effective cooling of the compressed air before it enters the engine, improving combustion efficiency.
Attributes:
• Provided with 15.46 liters of internal volume that allows for more efficient heat transfer from the compressed air
• Incorporated with 6.4 square wave air fins per inch to increase the surface area
• Incorporates lanced and offset turbulator with 7.3 fins per inch that disrupt the flow of the cooling medium
Applications:
An Air Aftercooler Core is a heat exchanger, effectively reducing the temperature of the compressed air coming from the turbocharger and removing condensed moisture from the compressed air.
