The Engine Oil Temperature Sensor is a threaded screw-in component located on the engine block. It comes in contact with the engine oil directly and houses a thermistor, a temperature-sensitive resistor. As the oil temperature increases, the electrical resistance of the thermistor changes. This change in resistance is sent as a signal to the ECU, which translates it into an actual oil temperature reading. Utilizes a 2-way Deutsch DT04-2P connector with silver-plated terminals, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.

• Capable of functioning in extreme conditions from -40°C to +50°C
• Rated IP69 when connected to a compatible connector, providing excellent protection against dust and water ingress
• Supports a broad voltage range of 12-24 VDC, allowing for flexible integration into various systems

Applications:
The Engine Oil Temperature Sensor monitors the temperature of the engine oil. This information is relayed to the engine control unit (ECU) to regulate various engine functions.
