An Air aftercooler core is a heat exchanger component used in compressed air systems. It is designed to cool down the hot, compressed air discharged from a compressor before it enters the downstream equipment or distribution system. The core contains a network of tubes or fins that facilitate the transfer of heat from the compressed air to the surrounding ambient air. The core is situated within the airflow path, and the compressed air passes through the tubes or fins, while ambient air circulates them. This allows for the transfer of heat from the compressed air to the cooler ambient air, reducing the air temperature and increasing its density.
Attributes :
• Withstands the moisture and environmental conditions in the compressed air system.
• Withstands the high pressure of the compressed air, ensuring its structural integrity and longevity.
• The aftercooler test pressure is 300 kPa.
Applications :
An Air aftercooler core cools the compressed air after it passes through the turbocharger or supercharger, improving engine performance and preventing overheating.
