The Seat Suspension Compression Spring is used in the fuel system for the efficient flow of fuel to the engine. This mechanical device stores energy and releases it to absorb shock or maintain a force between contacting surfaces. It is used to resist compression when a force is applied axially along its length and provides a reliable and consistent force between the plug and the filter housing.
Attributes:
• Provided a spring rate of 7.8 N/mm to store and release mechanical energy
• Provided with flat Ends because they provide a secure and stable for the spring to sit on a device or an assembly and Ground with 270°
• Provided with total coils of 4.75 and active coils of 3.5 as a helical coil that helps to maintain their shape and stability
Applications:
The Seat Suspension Compression Spring is used to ensure a secure seal of the fuel filter plug to prevent fuel leakage. Its capacity to store and release energy, sustain pressure in the fuel system, and assist in the removal and replacement of the fuel filter plug.
