A Regulator Housing Manifold manages the flow of coolant through the engine's cooling system. It houses the thermostat, a valve that opens and closes based on the coolant temperature. When the engine is cold, the thermostat remains closed, restricting coolant flow to allow the engine to warm up quickly. As the engine temperature rises, the thermostat gradually opens, allowing the coolant to circulate and regulate the engine's temperature.
