A One Section Gear Pump in Powertrain is used to transfer the fluids such as transmission fluid. The pump consists of a set of interlocking gears housed within a pump body, driven by the engine or an electric motor. As the gears rotate, they create a vacuum that draws in the oil from the reservoir. The oil is then pressurized and directed to the Transmission gear.
