The Axle Housing Cover Plate is located on the end of the axle housing assembly. It attaches directly to the axle housing using bolts or fasteners. The cover plate may have a gasket or seal to create a tight fit and prevent leaks. Some cover plates may also incorporate a breather hole to allow pressure equalization within the housing while preventing contaminants from entering. It is made up of strong and durable material, such as steel, to ensure strength and withstand high operating conditions.
