An Evaporator Core is a heat exchanger within the air conditioning system. The evaporator core is made using a series of parallel tubes made of a highly conductive material, such as copper. These tubes are arranged in a grid pattern and have thin aluminum fins attached to them. The fins serve to increase the surface area available for heat transfer. Air flows across the fins, absorbing heat from the refrigerant and cooling down.

Applications:
An Evaporator Core is responsible for cooling the air that is blown into the cabin. It converts the refrigerant phase from liquid to gas by absorbing heat from the air in the machine's operator cabin.
