493-4197: Counterbalance Valve

The Counterbalance Valve is designed to control the motion of loads in hydraulic systems by regulating the flow of hydraulic fluid. When a load is raised and lowered by a hydraulic cylinder, the counterbalance valve prevents the load from moving uncontrollably by maintaining a balanced pressure on both sides of the actuator. It does this by allowing hydraulic fluid to flow freely in one direction while blocking flow in the opposite direction providing smooth and controlled motion of the load.
