An Engine Exhaust Valve is responsible for opening and closing the passage between the combustion chamber and the exhaust system. The exhaust valve operates in synchronization with the engine's camshaft and other valvetrain components to ensure efficient expulsion of exhaust gases during the exhaust stroke of the engine. The valve head is the part that seals against the valve seat to close the exhaust passage, while the stem connects the valve head to the camshaft or rocker arm.

Applications:
An Engine Exhaust Valve is located in the cylinder head. As the engine piston moves upwards during the exhaust stroke, the exhaust valve opens, allowing the burnt gases and combustion byproducts to escape the cylinder and flow out of the engine through the exhaust manifold and exhaust system.
