The Fan Pulley serves to transmit rotational motion from the engine's crankshaft to the water pump, which drives the circulation of coolant throughout the engine. As the engine runs, the fan pulley rotates, drawing power from the engine to turn the water pump. This movement generates the necessary force to propel coolant through the engine's cooling passages, regulating its temperature and preventing overheating.
