A Right-Hand Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield is designed for collecting and directing the hot exhaust gases from the engine's combustion process. The primary purpose of the heat shield is to protect surrounding components and areas from the intense heat generated by the exhaust manifold. The manifold can reach temperatures well over 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit (537 degrees Celsius) during engine operation. Without a heat shield, this extreme heat could potentially cause damage to nearby components, and wiring, or even start fires.

• Constructed from heat-resistant material to withstand extremely high temperatures without deforming or deteriorating.
