The Drive Stud is a cylindrical shaft to transmits torque and rotational force from the brake motor to the ring unit. Its primary purpose is to facilitate the controlled rotation of the ring unit, which, in turn, affects the movement of the load or attachment. The opposite end of the drive stud often features a threaded connection, allowing it to be attached to the output shaft of the brake motor.
