A Diesel Exhaust Fluid Receiver is used to store and supply DEF to the SCR system when required. When the engine is running, the DEF receiver is connected to a dosing module that controls the injection of DEF into the exhaust stream. The DEF receiver ensures that a sufficient quantity of DEF is available for continuous emissions reduction during the engine's operation.
