A Fuel Level Sender measures the level of fuel present and transmits this information to the fuel gauge on the dashboard. This enables operators to monitor fuel levels accurately, ensuring timely refueling and preventing unexpected fuel shortages during operation. The sender unit consists of a float connected to a variable resistor or sensor, which changes resistance as the float moves with the fuel level. This electrical signal is then interpreted by the equipment's instrumentation to display the current fuel level to the operator.
