A Piston Connecting Rod acts as a mechanical link between the piston and the crankshaft. As the piston moves up and down during the engine's operating cycle, the connecting rod transmits the force generated by the combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the cylinder to the crankshaft. This force transmission allows the conversion of the linear, reciprocating motion of the piston into the rotational motion of the crankshaft, which is the basis for the engine's power generation.
