A Mechanical Fuel Level Gauge provides a visual indication of the fuel level inside a tank. It comprises a float assembly, a magnetic coupling system, and the level indicator dial. The float assembly includes a buoyant float connected to a mechanical arm or rod. Magnets are positioned within the float assembly and on the level indicator dial to establish the magnetic coupling.
Attributes:
• Minimizes mechanical wear since there is no direct physical connection due to the magnetic coupling system
• Fuel measuring depth of the gauge is 310mm
Applications:
A Mechanical Fuel Level Gauge is mounted vertically from the top of the fuel tank so as the fuel level changes the float follows that change and uses a magnetic coupling to transfer that motion from the float to the level indicator dial.
