An Intermediate Exhaust Manifold is used to collect exhaust gases from multiple cylinders and channel them into a single pipe. This manifold ensures that exhaust gases are efficiently directed to the catalytic converter and muffler, minimizing backpressure and optimizing engine performance, and it can withstand extreme conditions and corrosive exhaust gases.
