The Parking Brake Control Cable is used in a parking brake unit to control the engagement and release of the parking brake. It consists of a flexible cable with rod ends attached at each end. The cable itself is flexible to allow for the necessary movement and adjustment of the parking brake mechanism. At each end of the cable, there are rod ends, also known as clevis ends or spherical rod ends. The rod ends are connected to the parking brake lever or handle at one end, and the parking brake in the fixed axle at the other end.
