A Brake Accumulator Charging Valve is used to regulate and control the charging process of the brake accumulator unit. When the engine is running and the brake pedal is not engaged, the valve opens to allow hydraulic fluid from the main brake unit to flow into the brake accumulator. This fluid exerts pressure on the piston, compressing the spring, and filling the accumulator until it reaches the desired pressure level. The valve then closes automatically to prevent any further flow of hydraulic fluid into the accumulator.
