The Coolant Temperature Sensor Thermowell helps to monitor the temperature of the engine coolant fluid. The thermowell acts as a protective sheath for the temperature-sensing element, isolating it from the harsh operating conditions within the coolant system. This includes exposure to high pressures, vibrations, and potentially corrosive coolant fluids.
