The Cabin Mount Washer is a flat disc-shaped with a central hole that is used to distribute a load of a fastener, such as a bolt over a wider area, thereby reducing the pressure on the surface being fastened and preventing damage to the cabin mount. It helps to adjust spaces, alignment, and fitment between the mount and bolt.
Attributes:
• Hardened to Rockwell B scale hardness of 72 minimum, which determines it's resistant to deformation and wear
• Withstands the shocks and vibrations encountered during the operation
Applications:
The Cabin Mount Washer helps to prevent the bolt head from digging into the mount or causing it to deform and ensures fine-tuning of the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances.
