The Piston Pump Swashplate converts the rotary motion of the drive shaft into linear motion of the pistons. This conversion enables the pump to generate hydraulic pressure and move fluid through the unit. It rotates along with the drive shaft, it tilts back and forth due to its angled position. This tilting motion determines the stroke length of the pistons, which in turn controls the amount of fluid displaced and the pump's output flow rate.
