The Governor Drive Gear Shim Pack helps to adjust spaces, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces of the drive gear and its lock in the governor unit. These shims are used to fine-tune the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances. It consists of a set of thin metal shims that are precisely machined to specific thicknesses. These shims are strategically placed between the governor's drive gear and the lock.
