A Lip Seal consists of a ring-shaped elastomeric body (often rubber or polyurethane) with a single projecting lip on one side. This lip forms a tight seal against a mating surface, a shaft, or a rotating cylinder, creating a barrier against fluid or gas leakage. The seal body is slightly larger than the mating surface, creating a pre-load that presses the lip firmly against it.

• Manufactured with Fluorocarbon Rubber, offers outstanding heat resistance, oil resistance, and chemical resistance
• Provides structural support and serves as a mounting base for the seal
• Prevent the leakage of fluids, such as lubricants or hydraulic fluids, and the ingress of contaminants, including dust, dirt, or moisture

Applications:
A Lip Seal is placed around the shaft at the point where it enters or exits the housing of the piston pump. The lip of the seal presses against the shaft with a spring force, creating a tight seal that prevents oil leaks and contamination.
