An Extension Spring, also known as a tension spring, is a mechanical device consisting of a helical coil of wire that is used to resist stretching. These springs are made from spring steel and are widely used in various applications due to their ability to store and release energy when subjected to extension forces. When an extension spring is extended, it stores potential energy within the coiled structure, which can be released to perform work or provide a restoring force when the spring returns to its original extended state.

Applications:
