An Electric Starting Motor Solenoid is an electromechanical device that transmits electrical current to the starting motor, initiating the engine's cranking process. When the ignition key is turned, the solenoid receives an electrical signal from the ignition switch, causing it to close a set of heavy-duty contacts that deliver power to the starting motor.

Applications:
An Electric Starting Motor Solenoid helps to activate the electromagnet, creating a strong magnetic field that pulls the plunger inward. This high current energizes the starter motor, which in turn cranks the engine and starts the combustion process.
