A Glass Tube Fuse consists of a cylindrical glass tube with metal end caps. It operates based on the principle of thermal protection. As the temperature rises, the fuse element eventually melts or opens the circuit, interrupting the current flow and protecting downstream parts from damage. The end caps are made of conductive materials, which provide electrical connections and support.
