A Torque Converter Impeller Hub rotates at the same speed as the engine crankshaft, providing the initial rotational input to the torque converter. As the engine speed increases, the impeller hub's rotation speed also increases, generating a turbulent fluid flow within the torque converter. This fluid flow is what allows the torque converter to multiply the engine's torque before it is sent to the transmission.

Applications:
