398-5572: Temperature Sensor

Description:
The Temperature sensors use thermocouples or thermistors to sense the temperature of oil, water, or air. The sensor that works with thermocouples typically consists of two different metals that are joined together at one end. When the joined end is heated or cooled, a voltage is produced across the other end of the metals and this voltage can be measured and used to determine the temperature. A temperature sensor that works with thermistors uses a special type of resistor made from a material that changes its resistance in response to changes in temperature.
