The aftercooler core consists of a network of tubes or passages and fins made to dissipate heat efficiently. As the air flows through the network of tubes or passages, heat is transferred from the air to the core's surface. The fins on the core assist in dissipating the heat, allowing the compressed air to cool down. The cooled air then exits the aftercooler core and enters the engine's intake manifold
