The Clutch Operator Master Cylinder is located within the operator's compartment, mounted directly to the firewall or a supporting bracket. It consists of a piston and a reservoir filled with hydraulic fluid. When the operator presses the clutch pedal, a pushrod connected to the pedal applies force to the master cylinder piston. This force pressurizes the hydraulic fluid within the cylinder, creating a hydraulic force that travels through hydraulic lines to the clutch slave cylinder.
