The Fuel Transfer Pump Rod is a long, slender, and rigid part within the fuel transfer pump assembly of a machine. Its primary function is to convert the rotary motion of the pump's camshaft into reciprocating motion (back-and-forth movement) for the diaphragm or piston inside the pump. This reciprocating motion creates suction and pressure, pulling fuel from the tank and pushing it toward the engine.
