Description:
The Transmission Case Straine is located inside the transmission case, and it of a mesh screen that traps any particles that are larger than the screen openings. The transmission fluid is forced through the strainer by the transmissions pump, which creates pressure that pushes the fluid through the filter. The purpose of the strainer is to filter the transmission fluid as it circulates through the transmission, removing any debris or contaminants that could cause damage to the transmission's internal components.
