Cat ToughGuard™ Hose features an abrasion-resistant cover for the harshest operating conditions. It surpasses over 2 million SAE abrasion test cycles providing superior resistance against the number one cause of hose failure, abrasion.

The construction of the hose is made from a synthetic rubber tube; two braids of special high tensile steel wire reinforcement separated by synthetic rubber layer. The outer cover is oil and weather-resistant synthetic rubber with special outer high abrasion-resistant ToughGuard film.
