The exhaust cooler is a heat exchanger that uses the coolant to absorb heat from the exhaust gases before they are released into the atmosphere. This process helps to lower the temperature of the exhaust gases, which is required for emissions control and overall engine performance. Beads on both ends of the tube create turbulence, which increases the surface area of the coolant in contact with the tube walls.
