An Engine Radiator is a heat exchanger that utilizes airflow to remove excess heat from the engine coolant. It is made with an aluminum or copper core, which provides excellent heat conductivity. The core is composed of a series of small tubes that carry the coolant, surrounded by fins that increase the surface area for heat dissipation. The core is usually enclosed within a durable metal or plastic housing, which also contains the inlet and outlet connections for coolant flow.

Applications:
An Engine Radiator works in conjunction with other cooling system components. It is placed at the front of the engine where it is fed by a flow of air, which helps with the engine cooling process.
