The Shim Pack helps to adjust spaces, alignment, and fitment between two surfaces or parts. Shims are employed to fine-tune the fitment of parts, compensating for slight variations in dimensions and achieving desired clearances. These shims are to be inserted between two components to adjust the clearance or alignment between them. The Shim Pack consists of 6 shims.
Attributes:
• Distribute loads evenly between mating surfaces, avoiding localized stress concentrations
• Ensure proper positioning and reduce vibration or noise
Applications:
The Shim Pack is used in the final drive and braking setup to make tolerance between the components and placed between the retainer and retainer ring, duo cone seal, and Toric ring to achieve the desired fit in the service and braking brake hub and the shim pack makes the stacks to achieve the required thickness or alignment then the real spindle placed in the hub.
