An Air Conditioner Blend Air Plate is located within the air distribution housing; it consists of a movable plate or flap that adjusts to control the mixture of hot and cold air entering the cabin. When the air conditioning is activated, the plate directs airflow through the evaporator, cooling the air before it enters the cabin. Conversely, during heating mode, it redirects airflow through the heater core to warm the air. This precision control allows for comfortable temperature regulation inside the equipment.
