The Engine Valve Cover is placed at the top of the cylinder head to envelop and protect the valve mechanisms, ensuring they remain uncontaminated and shielded from external hazards. It includes the breather cap, valve cover seal, seal-O-ring, and the cover itself. The breather cap allows for the release of built-up pressure and the expulsion of gases from the engine crankcase. The valve cover seal is used to create a tight seal, preventing oil leaks and maintaining the internal pressure within the engine, and the seal-O-ring provides a secure seal between the valve cover and the engine block, preventing oil from leaking out and contaminants from entering the engine.
