The Threaded Rod is rotated in a counterclockwise direction to make adjustments to the Sleeve. Counterclockwise rotation of the rod results in the rod moving upward, causing the sleeve to move vertically, thereby altering the thickness of the Screed Mat. The assembly consists of parts like Tubes, bosses, and Plates.

The Sleeve is used on the Right Hand Side of the Screed Mat Thickness Control is adjusted and controlled by the operator of the asphalt paving equipment and the operator monitors and adjusts the sleeve assembly settings based on the desired Screed Mat Thickness, and paving conditions.
