A Governor Control Lever, located near the fuel pump, is linked to a solenoid responsible for shutting down the engine by decreasing the fuel flow. Its primary function is to regulate the fuel supply from the fuel pump concerning the engine speed, which is constantly monitored by the governor. If the engine starts to run too fast due to increased load or other factors, the governor detects this over-speed condition. To bring the engine back to its desired operating speed, the governor signals the solenoid connected to the Governor Control Lever. The solenoid responds to the governor's signal by moving the control lever. As the control lever is adjusted, it regulates the fuel flow from the fuel pump, and the speed is reduced.
Attributes:
• Adjusting the fuel flow from the fuel pump
• Prevent the engine from exceeding safe speed
• Withstands constant usage and harsh conditions, ensuring reliable long-term operation
• Ensures stable operation and optimal performance
Application:
This Governor Control Lever connected to the governor and the solenoid helps to control the flow of fuel, thereby controlling the running of the engine at optimum speeds.
