An Engine Hood Panel Sound Suppression Insulation acts as a barrier against engine sound from the engine compartment, maintaining lower sound on the lower frame and surrounding areas, contributing to a cooler operating environment and it also protects against the ingress of dust and debris into the engine compartment. It is placed on the top side panel of the hood to dampen vibrations and absorb sound waves.
