The Exhaust Manifold Gasket is a gasket that covers the gap between two or more mating surfaces, and is often used to prevent leakage from or into the connected components when under compression. Gaskets are normally made from a flat material, a sheet such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (otherwise known as PTFE or Teflon) or a plastic polymer (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene).

Applications:
The Exhaust Manifold Gasket is used for providing a leak-proof seal at the end of the Bypass Tube connecting to the Exhaust Manifold, also used in applications where anti-vibration, packaging, noise, and sound reduction are required.
