The Steering Clutch Control Housing Shaft transmits the operator input and controls the engagement and disengagement of the steering clutches in a steering unit. It allows the operator to manipulate the steering control lever, which in turn moves the control housing shaft. This motion is then transferred to the steering clutch, enabling the operator to engage or disengage the steering clutches. This control over the steering clutches determines the direction and maneuverability of the machine, allowing for smooth and precise steering.

• Hardened to Rockwell C scale hardness of 55 HRC, which determines it's resistant to deformation and wear
